Welcome Message from President, School of Theology

"And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men" Luke 2:52.

The way Jesus grew is a perfect growth; physical, Intellectual, Spiritual and social. This perfect growth is what I desire for our students.

Physical development is mechanical; we grow in stature and in size almost automatically for God designed our body to grow so under a normal life setting. While God intended our body to grow as designed, we can do something for our bodies to be stronger, healthier, more energetic and elegant. Also when we recognize our bodies are the house of the Holy Spirit, the physical care becomes our joyful duty. The outside of the house tell a lot about who lives inside. I want my students be physically neat, clean, healthy and attractive inside out.

Intellectual development is not that mechanic. The more we put ourselves into study and practice of learning, the more interesting and successful person we become. If we want to advance in the kingdom of God, we need to grow in the knowledge of God and responsibilities in the expansion of God's work on earth. Jesus was twelve years old when he said "Did you not know that I had to be in my Father's affairs?" The Holy Scriptures are the number one source to know God intellectually. There are also many other good ways that will help our intellectual knowledge of the Divinity. Shepherd University is committed to provide the most applicable wisdom and knowledge available so that students can be properly equipped to the Kingdom ministry effectively.

To grow in grace with God is more than reading about Him. It involves with knowing him personally and intimately. This requires friendship, fellowship, time with him, dialogue, meditation and contemplation. If you get amazed with the God of the Scriptures, you should become His friend. Shepherd University is providing you various occasions that you can fall into the grace and rise up with power in Jesus.

To grow socially is to "love your neighbor as yourself". You have abundance of the greatest gift people needs. You have the capacity and authority to reconcile them with God and be a channel for their salvation. To love those around you will make you an evangelist and disciple-maker. Shepherd University makes it very sure that you experience God in small group setting with professors and peer-students. What you tried at school you will be able to try at the church or at the evangelical settings of the world. So Shepherd University is committed to provide discipleship experience at classroom setting so that you experience full spectrum of discipleship from a disciple to a disciple-maker.

Equipping you holistically so that you can fulfill your dream wholesomely in the Lord is our priority!

So with these crucial vision in mind, welcome to our School!!
